Learning Methods

Disponibile solo in inglese

The first section of this chapter aims to explain the concept of learning and how people can learn from experience. Furthermore, this section presents our class as an organization which delivers some value by, for example, giving students roles with specific tasks. It also shows the differences between learning in a class and learning in other types of organizations.

The second section analyzes the main learning methods that can be found in literature. This section is especially focused on the theoretical models used by Chris Argyris to describe the learning process inside an organization environment such as single-loop, double-loop and transitional model.

The third section describes three different views that can be applied to the learning process. The three views are the exogenous view, the endogenous view and the co-creative view. Moreover, this section takes our class as an example of active organization, describing which views can be applied to it.

Finally, the last section provides a summary of the entire chapter and suggests possible improvements in learning methods.
